Ettridge
Architecture is a small, flexible, design orientated architectural
practice based in Barton-Upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire. David
Ettridge, the Director, also works from his home office in Hessle,
East Yorkshire, making the most of the magnificent Humber Bridge.
David Ettridge achieved an RIBA White Rose Award for Marfleet
Primary School in 2004 (with Hull City Council). As a practice,
we only intend to build on this success by providing a service
which is second to none.
As architects, we believe that too much debate focuses on whether
a building should be a ‘Georgian’ replica or a ‘Modern’ cube.
We believe that the historic fabric around us is there to be
respected and learned from – but not copied – and
that the delicate and complex environment in which we exist leads
design away from this debate. |
