The existing Victorian building is typical of the period, utilising changes in level and other traits that make wheelchair access difficult.
The proposed remodelling involved restructuring the entrance sequence and reception, creating a 'hub', which enables coherent navigation of the building and 80% disabled access.
The extension houses four classrooms and the necessary circulation space.
